GIAB is an innovative growth company that implements processes and business models in companies based on the concept of the circular economy. GIAB has expert knowledge of the circular economy, the reusage of products, and returns logistics. Over the past three years, GIAB has developed to become one of Sweden’s prime examples of how the theory of the circular economy can be transformed into a reality. Where others see only waste and expense, GIAB sees valuable resources with great business potential. We mainly focus on companies and organisations that lack the capacity and ability to treat their ‘waste’ as a valuable resource, which results in them instead having to treat these resources as a cost.
GIAB has developed four business areas – GIAB Consulting & Investment, Circular Goods Management, IT-Cirkeln™ and Mobilcirkeln®. All these areas have been designed in accordance with the principles of the circular economy. You can find out more about all of our business areas in the main menu.
The company was founded in 2010 by Christian Jansson and Patrik Zalewski. It all began as an idea with the name Godsinlösen, and has since grown to become a company with 50 employees. In conjunction with our international expansion, we now operate under the name GIAB, Godsinlösen Nordic AB. All operations are based at the head office in Staffanstorp. This provides the base for our sustainability consultants and management, our sales via the Returhuset store, our engineers, as well as the whole of our customer service team.
Business concept:
GIAB’s business concept is to convert that which is currently regarded as waste into an economically valuable resource. The circular economy in action!
By implementing routines and business models in organisations based upon the principles of a circular economy, we promote the conversion of the theory of the circular economy into practice.
Vision:
GIAB shall represent an example to industry by combining economic profitability with sustainability.
GIAB shall be an internationally recognised catalyst for resource-efficient business development and a decisive agent in the transformation to a circular economy.
